AT THE beginning of reality shows, it was singing programmes which were shown on every other channel. Then, dancing prevailed. Now,they are doing both. But,the basic taste is dance, ingredients being couples,Individuals, dance groups whether its sony , colour or zee, every channel has dance contests. And,most of these reality dancing shows are been copied or indian version of foreign shows.
And, almostly a single and same pattern is followed by all the programmes which looks quiet monotonous. Three judges, two anchors, eliminations, wild card entries, voting system. For instance, you can see dancing with stars on BBC and Got to dance on AXN. Dancing with stars (jhalak dikhlaja in india).Got to dance(AXN)is a British show with a variety of participants including children of age group ten year olds. Now,the question is what is with all these child participants?
Although, there is no issue for the matter children enjoying, dancing but is it right for 10 year olds to practice for hours(which they have to do for such shows) or to go through difficult parts of the show like elimination process? But,dance shows are always supported and enjoyed by the viewers. Besides the criticizm for the dance shows. these are increasing in number. Also these are enjoyed and supported by large section of viewers. And, it is good as viewers are the target of the shows.
