The infamous Satyam computers offenders sent to jail

The internationally famous corporate fraud Satyam computers scam proved in the court and the main accused Ramalinga Raju and nine others were sentenced seven years jail by the special court judge. The entire corporate world was astonished when Ramalinga Raju himself revealed the fraud.

At last the verdict of Satyam Computers is out. The main culprit Ramalinga Rajau and other nine accused are proved fault. The CBI special court judge Chakravarthy has sentences the rigorous imprisonment of seven years to all and a fine of Rs. Five crore each to Ramalinga Raju and his brother RamaRaju.The remaining eight are Vadlamani Srinivas CFO, S. Gopala Krishnan. Talluri Srinivas, Surya Narayana Raju, Ramakrishna, VS Prabhakara Gupta and employees of the company venkatapati Rajau and Srisailam. All these fined with a lakh of rupees along with the seven years jail.

The Satyam fraud has come out in the year 2009 in the month of january.CBI has charged the company that has deceived the investors and banks for the tune of Rs. 14,000 crores. The court has recorded the witnesses of 226 and evaluated  the 3037 documents, submitted by CBI.

The accounting scam has been first pronounced by Ramalinga Raju himself on 7th of January 2009 and on 9th he and his brother Rama Raja were arrested. Later the central government has dissolve the board and appointed the Deepak Parekh and Karan karmic and Achy tan. The Central Beauru of Investigation took over the case in the month of February and since then the trial was on. Infect the trial was completed six months ago but court had to check the thousands of documents and verdict was postponed.

Actually the Ramalingaraju and nine others were on bail and Ramalinga Raju was in jail for 33 months before gets bail.
