In line with the objective of ensuring that all corporates in the private sector collaborate together to scale up the skill development agenda in India, the Union Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (I/C) and Parliamentary Affairs, Shri Rajiv Pratap Rudy was recently in Ahmedabad in Gomtipur, to visit an AISECT-NSDC skill training centre to see how the candidates were being trained for the future India. He appreciated the sustained and innovative ICT and skills-based initiatives undertaken by AISECT, to bring about an inclusive change in the previously untapped regions in the semi-urban and rural areas of the country.

Shri Rudy interacted with the students, the faculty and AISECT leads to understand the skill development programme being run in the state. Shri Rudy also did a stopover at one of the AISECT - SBI Banking Kiosks and interacted with the Customer Service Point (CSP)to understand the model of delivery and the convenience of services as compared to the bank branches.
