My recent visit to Hyderabad India has made me realise that the infrastructure is flourishing in Hyderabad the city of Pearls.
I was delighted to see the tall building and beautifully structured roads. You can find most of the IT and financial companies in the City, I have seen lots of foreigners in supermarkets.
However, the city near the Western Ghats had its own history to tell while you drive down to the countryside, you see there are tall apartments and buildings hiding all beauties of the City. There are no parks or any green area nearby any offices, IT-Cyber Parks or any residential area.
Recently visited the Botanical garden and quite disappointed, heard that some part of that garden has been given to the builders. Why it is so difficult to understand a simple art of balance of nature? Development is important but not in the value of greens (nature).
Trees and parks are important for our future generation. Only sending our kids to the International school is not enough we need to pay attention to these aspects as well. There are a lot of NGOs and government organisations working towards environment but the primary issue is awareness. Suddenly increase in population in Hyderabad has given builder monetary gain but they also need to understand that they are also a part of the population.
