Nowadays Delhi is flooded with unwanted posters, pamphlets and hoardings in every nook and corner put up by different political parties to greet Indians Christmas, New Year and Eid-ul-Adha. However, greeting and best wishes are part and parcel of every society on different occasions like birthday, marriage anniversary, New Year, Christmas and different festivals like Holi, Diwali, Eid and so on. The trend of wishing varies person-to-person and community-to-community but faith and respect remain same for all and in every circumstance. As we know that every action has some reason and motivation. Now, the most important question is to know the motto of our political parties behind spending millions on this? Do they really wish the people from the bottom of their heart or play politics of votes? Is it beneficial for those who are struggling for the survival on this earth?

Although, it is fact that it is worthless for the country like India where 40.5 percent of the Indian population does not know how to read or write and they are unable to understand that it has been posted to greet them. Despite of the fact that thousands of farmers are compel to end their lives, as per Amartya Sen’s speech on Hunger in India at a public hearing on the Right to Food New Delhi, 10 January 2003, “About 320 million of its citizens reportedly go to bed without food every night, representing over a third of the estimated 840 million hungry people across the world. As per Indian National Crime Records Bureau's unique 'crime clock 2005’ which tracked criminal activities over 2004, the country reported one molestation every 15 minutes; one crime against women every 3 minutes; one dowry death every 77 minutes; one rape every 29 minutes; one murder every 16 minutes; and one sexual harassment case every 53 minutes. An Educational Consultants of India/Ministry of Human Resource Development sponsored survey by IMRB in November last year found that in India, the total population of children in the age group of 6 to 13 years was 19.4 crore. Of them, 1.3 crore were out of school. Still they are using this tool because they know that this is one of the best weapons to reach to innocent people.

As we know that in the present situation a majority of Members of Parliament who is representing in the Parliament has criminal background and is running in Parliament for mammon worship. The very few are honest and are devoted to work for the welfare of the society. It is irony of Indian politics that not a single political party has constructive agenda or manifestos, the most of our representatives are running out of constructive work. The BJP is playing with Hindu sentiment and is trying to get vote in the name of Ram Temple, at the some extent he got success and have grave power another side the Congress party wants to create secular atmosphere in India and is showing threat to minority communities from the BJP while the Left Front have nothing in the name of agenda they are changing their face as per demand of time. The local parties like The RJD and LJP have MY (Muslim Yadova) and MD (Muslim Dalit) equation respectively, the S.P (Samajvadi Patry) and BSP (Bahujan Samajwadi Party) have similar kind of ideology. It is shattering that no one is talking about welfare of Indian as a whole. I had read that there are four pillars – Legislative, Executive, Judiciary and Journalism of democracy but now it seems that we are missing one of the strong pillars of Indian democracy and that is crime, robbery and kidnapping that is run by back-up of political leaders.

In the recent year some decision of the Supreme Court like stay order on Alahabad High Court decision to shut down factories of Guthka and Paan Massala has compelled the general people to think time and again. However, the highest body is fully aware of its effect and consequences. In another decision in which Highest body make stick is an illegal because it disrupt the smooth functioning of nation. While everybody knows that it is an integral part of every democratic country in which people can demonstrate against every action that is not welfare of the Indian. The recent notice to Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chaterji by Supreme Court on suspension of MP for taking money to be asked desirable question instead of giving proper instruction for not posting poster hoarding and pamphlets that is nothing more than wastage of money and time. These bodies should take necessary action against it.

It is very unfortunate that Indian media is more concern about Abhishek Bachchan and Aswariya Ray and Kareena and Shahid Kapoor on and off screen chemistry. They don’t   think to make headline as it will not give maximum TRP as other topic related to celebrities. Now it turns of print and media and web-portal of news to take it as prime concern so that valuable money could be saved. It is high time to realize that if these political parties were spent all this money in constructive work the face of the poor would change drastically and these people have not to adopt back gate to inter in the parliament. Now the responsibility fall for the generation-X to come forward and create a revolution like Lok Nayak Jaiprakash to save so called free India from these unauthorized leaders of society.
