Youths will start nation-wide campaign for introduction of “Bhagat Singh Rozgar Guarantee Act” : Jagroop

Hussainiwala (Ferozepur), 23 March: Hundreds of students and youths All India Sikh Students Federation (AISF) and Sarb Bharat Naujawan Sabha )SBSN) Punjab, who have started campaign  of employment as per ability or unemployment allowance started today visited Hussainiwala to pay tributes to the martyrs.


The students and youths were led by Karamveer Kaur Badhi, Convener, Sumeet Sami, State President, Vicky Maheshri, State Secretary of AISF and Charanjit Singh Shanga Rai, Sr.Vice President, SBNS, Kashmir Singh Gadhia, State President, Kuldipl Singh Bhola, State Secretary, Narinder Kaur Sohal State Vice President.  On this occasion, Jagroo Singh, Chief Advisor and Paramjit Singh Dhaban were special invitees.


Addressing the students and youths, J        agroop Singh said, the unique sacrifice of martyrs have inculcated new soul among the people for the independence of nation which will be remembered for all times to come.


He said, even after 83 of sacrifice by the martyrs, the condition of the country is again like slavery, bondage and servitude.  The dreams of martys are still incomplete and it is the main job of its successors.


Today, on the occasion of Shaheedi conference, the AISF and SBNS announced on the land of martyrs to start to start a nationwide campaign to introduce Bhagat Singh Employment Guarantee Act with main feature of the Act – job as per ability or unemployment allowance.


Expressing his concern over the plight of the country, Jagroop Singh said, like last year, this year also, about 10 crore new voters will use their right to franchise.  Presently, about 20 crore youths voters having less than 28 years of age are unemployed and there is no guarantee in the coming time also and they are frustrated.  Jagroop Singh assured to take them out of this frustration and will work for to get them right of service to live a honourable life for which they will start an agitation before the Parliament.


Kashmir Singh Gadhia State President in his address said, capitalist governments keeping aside the martyr’s ideology, have used their name for their narrow political interests.  Had the governments worked by following the paths of martyrs, the nation would have been enjoying in its glory.


Paramjiot Singh Dhaban and Sumeet Shami in their address said, the students community should intensify the agitation to save the education and to get the due right of the education  by getting inspiration from the great martyrs.  What to say of others, even after independence of more than six dates, we have not been able to make a part of syllabus of the history of martyrs with the result the students community has fallen behind from his rights.


On this occasion, apart from others, the representatives of various trade unions  were present in support of the view point of the AISF and SBNS.
