With plans to open 14 warehouses in the next 5 years, Zoffio, an office supplies startup aims to redefine the market in India.

Zoffio the online office supplies startup, which is part of the Zuri Hospitality group are entering into talks with venture capitalist firms in order to raise an additional $ 10 million for future growth plans and operations.


Zoffio was founded in 2013 by brothers Abhishek Kamani and Bobby Kamani, who hail from the Kamani group. The focus is to make Zoffio, the leading online office supplies in the global scenario. The company has chosen to mandate Veda Capital Advisors for the fundraising.


Brijesh Aggarwal, co-founder of Telexo, feels that the online B2B commerce catering to office supplies will make big strides in the coming months. Tolexo which is part of the delhi based Indiamart, is an online industrial supplies website. Tolexo is also looking to raise funds in the coming days.


In an exclusive interview Mr.Abhishek Kamani, the CEO of Zoffio went on to say that "Online B2B is where online B2C was in 2008". He is confident about the growth and success of Zoffio which has registered rise in revenues from 3 crores in 2013 to a healthy 11 crores in 2014. It is also expected to register a total of 33 crores in this fiscal year. Tata Communication, Yum Brands, Bharti AXA, GE etc are one in many of noteworthy clients for Zoffio.


"Having gained momentum, we expect Rs 2000 crores in revenue by 2021. We have warehouses in Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai. Our plan is to open 14 more warehouses in the next 5 years" says Mr. Kamani.


Zoffio is currently 155 employees strong. Personnel in the company's top management have served similar roles previously in Snapdeal, Yahoo etc. The company is a platform for vendors dealing in a vast range of office supplies. By targeting these companies who work out of big office spaces, Zoffio wants to be the preferred choice amongst other business firms for procuring stationery and office supplies in bulk. Apart from catering to demands of guest users / day users, Zoffio is also banking upon a huge B2B customer base. The company currently deals in almost 36000 plus products on its website spread across various categories such as premium desk accessories, office decor, computer and laptop accessories, mobile phones and tablets, housekeeping and a wide range of corporate gifting options. Zoffio has set up an efficient system to handle its b2b customers. As the B2B customers order in bulk they are assigned a dedicated set of account managers who handle their queries and business interests. They are also planning to roll out 'Zoff Bank' which will allow customers to store their debit or credit cards online with Zoffio along with the option of directing refunds to their 'Zoff Bank account'.
