Dr. Lalit Kishore's comment on Need to teach subject matter through songs and music for multi-pronged cognitive development of students

However, the advocates of multiple intelligence theory assert that the teachers must make singing and music teaching-learning tools for imparting subject matter instruction for a short while every now and then. It has been suggested that short educational songs (not more than 2 minutes long) need to include interactive activities as well as rhythmic hand and body movements to illustrate the subject matter. This needs to be treated as an experience for analysis and generation of knowledge. (This part has not appeared in the article)
