Punjab must beat Delhi to keep its IPL 2013 hopes alive
The picturesque stadium at Dharamsala will host tonight's game featuring Delhi Daredevils and Kings XI Punjab. The former is already out of the competition, whereas the latter still has an outside chance to reach the playoffs stage.

Himachal Health Minister urges for NDMF battalion in the state
Disasters, whether natural or man-made, cause extreme distress and disruption because of wide-spread human, material or environmental losses. This was stated by Health Minister, Shri Kaul Singh Thakur while speaking on the occasion of first session of the National Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction meet held at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi today.

World Red Cross Day observed at Raj Bhawan
World Red Cross Day was observed at Raj Bhawan Shimla today. Smt Poonam Chauhan, Honorary Secretary Himachal Pradesh, Red Cross Hospital Welfare Section and other members of Indian Red Cross Society pinned Red Cross flags on Smt. Urmila Singh, Governor on the occasion. The theme for this Year's World Red Cross Day is '150 years of humanitarian action'.

Himachal poised to become industrial hub
'Industry by Invitation' is the new mantra and the present state government is adopting measures to attract investment to the state so as to make Himachal Pradesh an industrial hub of the country. In addition, Investor Meets and Road Shows are being organized in different parts of the country to attract fresh investment in the state.
