With 90 percent success rate Ileal Interposition surgery can treat severe type 2 Diabetes
Diabetes affects around 200 million people worldwide, and around three crore people in India. The incidence of Diabetes is expected to rise by 50 percent in the next ten years. Diabetes is not a single disease but a root cause of some major health problems. Presently, it is being treated by a few diet modifications, oral hypoglycemic medications and insulin therapy. But now there is a ray of hope for the non-obese type 2 diabetic patients in the form of Ileal interposition surgery.

Madras High Court pulls up lower court for controversial remark on relationship while acquitting a lifer
The Madras High Court has pulled up a lower court judge for making a loose comment on relationships between men and women. Last year the district and session court judge-II of Kancheepuram while pronouncing judgment in a murder case had said, 'A man and woman, if left alone, will always go for sexual intercourse.'
