Tripura tops MNREGA implementation for 4th successive term
Tripura government has topped in implementation of MNREGA scheme for the fourth consecutive time during the financial year 2012-13. The state has topped by providing 86 workdays against the prescribed 100 days, whereas the national figure stood at 39 workdays during this period.

Tripura set to become 100% literate state, peace acts as catalyst
Tripura has grown by leaps and bounds as far as literacy rate of the state is concerned. In 2001 census, Tripura stood at 12th position while in 2011 census, they climbed to 3rd place, trailing behind Mizoram and Kerala only among Indian states.
