Rapist should be given death sentence

Rapists are on prowl in Delhi and NCR with two cases reported recently. Many a time girls do not report the matter to police and the accused go scot-free. It is time now that a strong message is sent out with death penalty to the rapists.

rape should be given death penilty
willie : Nov 17, 2009
We should set an example by giving death penalty rape cases will eradicate. does any one knows which is the country which has very less rape case that comes in some i.e is saudi arabia because the punishment for the rapist is death. and the country which is having highest rape cases instead of americans having free sex before wedlock is america. be it any country the rapist should be given death penalty so they do have the fear of the law. Rape is more common in Western societies than all others . According to the available data, the Islamic countries are also generally safe. Malaysia is the only Muslim country that appears in the list of top 25 countries in the world, probably because of' a very large Chinese minority. Most of the top rape-ridden countries have Christian population despite having complete sex freedom. Rape is a serious problem in the United States today. The United States has the highest rape rate among countries which report such statistics. It is 4 times higher than that of Germany, 13 times higher than that of England and 20 times higher than that of Japan.

We are all debating on the issue of whether to punish a crime with another legal 'crime'. What is a deserving punishment for someone who rapes his 1 year old niece? It was reported that the infant had to be given about a half a dozen stitches... ! Like the disagreers have pointed out, it may not be the end of life for a girl... how good a start is it for a 1 year old child? Sending such desperate creatures to the jail will not serve any purpose. An equally cheap minded relative or a friend will bail him out and he will again be on the look out for his next prey... he should be put through similar torture - slowly but painfully! Every minute of his life, he should repent having done such a misdeed!
Lakshmi Balasubramanian : Feb 03, 2009
the rapists should be given death sentence without any second thought.. yes rape might not be the end of life for a girl but it is something worse than that.. it is like leaving a girl half dead... and that is a more henious act.
Rupsha Majumder : Jan 20, 2009
yes, hang them, thats the only way to stop rape case in india which happen almost every day in our country. they spoil our culture in such a way that can not acceptable. so for this crime there should only one punishment and that is kill them.
vishal : Jan 19, 2009
yes it should.because no one has right to spoil someone's life.
sandeep : Jan 11, 2009
those who disagree will agree if they are directly affected
gomathy : Jan 11, 2009
when you ruining someone's entire life then you don't have the right to live either.
surendra : Jan 10, 2009
yes , they should be given death panality. Why should they be sent to jail, where they would get free shelter, medication, food etc. Should be hanged till death
manjari : Jan 10, 2009
We are considering death is toughest penalty but they should be treated in such a way that they can feel pain of girl in each second of there life and it can create history in such punishment and other can think 100 times before raping someone.
Vikas : Jan 10, 2009
Ramesh Manghirmalani : Jan 09, 2009
Death is not the tough solution. They should be given higher pain for whole life time. Ex. Cut their both hands and lags. AND leave them to live.
Aasheesh Gupta : Jan 09, 2009
Without an iota of doubt, Rapists shud be hanged or castrated. Such men have no right live.
priyanka : Jan 09, 2009
death is too small a punishment for such a despicable offence.
subhankar sarkar : Jan 08, 2009
People should know that there are many women who rape men too by giving them drugs/ sedatives and then tying them up with ropes. Should they be given death sentence? There are also lesbian and gay rapes happening all over but none of these come to light because of the stigma and the legal lacuna in law. The reason why rape is always shown as man committing on a woman is because of feminism and its misandry kind of propaganda. Its a war against men. Ours is the era of war on men by women, thanks to feminism.
ROHAN : Feb 08, 2009
NO- let him and his family suffer- put him in Jail

v feel rape is the end of life for a girl. i fail to unerstand this. if any one makes life a hell for a raped girl it is the the police who parade the girl at every street corner, it is the judiciary who makes her report her experience incessantly , it is the media which celebrate the misfortune and finally it is the society which will never accept the girl as another human being. so if these predators are reined in the girl can l live on. so let us keep the sense of proportion . our normal laws can take care of the rapist. let us concentrate on a life after rape. and the better way to punish a rapist is to isolate him . give his act wide publicity so that public can recognise him. keep him out of social functions or better still introduce him thru his famous act. attach the social stigma (which we wrongly attach to the girl) to the rapist. keep his friends at a bay so that normal human beings will avoid his friendship. and if any one wants a permanent cure try the follwoing --do something to take out from the subconscious of the male in this country that vague but forceful belief that rape is after all the sporty conquer of the female and nothing else. -- work to make the girl believe that rape is just a small accident from which one can come out without even a small sacr .

radha : Jan 09, 2009
no one must be sentenced to death upon any committed crime... to kill some one is crime eventhough it is done by the authority. courtsey : the Novel "Trial" by Franz Kafka
