  Do you think government should have handled the Swine Flu pandemic in a better manner?

The Swine Flu is spreading in the country at a very rapid rate and the death toll due to the virus is rising unabated. A number of Swine Flu victims have contracted the virus from relatives and friends coming from abroad. Although the union government has said that it is monitoring the situation, the rising fatalities has set the alarm bells ringing.

It was very late action from the govt. People infected with H1N1 coming to India should have been strictly checked and then allowed to enter. Now it is too late. The dangerous virus spreads rapidly and now difficult to control. Even if it will be controlled, it will take its toll of many innocent lives by then. Wish you good luck Govt. of India.

The Government should have been sincerely enough in taking up preventive mesures in time when Swine flu cases were reported for the first time in the country. All along the Government has been giving only assurances that public should not get into the panic mode and that everthing would be taken care of. Now we see results of these assurances from the rising fatal cases.

Stepwise approach by the govt, keeping initial control by himself and assessing the magnitude of the problems and thereafter allowing nongovt organisations to participate provided they follow some basic guide line is justified. To control an epidemic of present nature where other countries are also involved needs scientific approach and guideline of WHO which govt seems to be followinng and to cntrol this type needs some time.

GOVT.HAS NOT ISSUED ANY GUIDELINES FOR THE CARE OF THE CITIZEN OF INDIA. ALL ROUNG FEAR PREVAILED IN OUR COUNTRY. I REQUEST THE GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS TO TREAT THIS PANDEMIC IN WAR FOOTING MANNER.
