| Well! I thought the Nobel Prize Awards Committee gave awards for actions that were done by commendable people and doyens of society in various fields - until the Nobel Peace Prize was awarded for Obama! This time the Nobel Prize committee has given the award to someone before he could do anything concrete there pre-empting him or rather forcing him to do something to deserve the coveted Nobel Peace Prize! It is the first time in the history of Nobel Prize (and I hope it remains the last time too, as Alfred Nobel might be turning in his grave!) that the Nobel Prize has been given to someone whom the Nobel Prize committee want to act earnestly to deserve the coveted prize announced to him! |

| I think it is too early for the world to decide if Mr Obama can receive a noble prize for peace. I think we should give him some time and then reason out if he is entitled to such a coveted post. I think for awards of such great magnitude, actions mean more than just words!!! |

| According to Nobel's will, the Peace Prize should be awarded to the person who:
“ during the preceding year [...] shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses.[1] ”
Alfred Nobel's will stated that the prize should be awarded by a committee of five people elected by the Norwegian Parliament.
Nobel died in 1896 .No doubt President aobama is sincere,honest,responsible and cear cur idelogy,which can be used to maintain peace at global level.First he should stop to giving further aid to Pakistan,which is being used only to increase terrorism.

| I disagree with nobel prize given to Barack Obama because President Barack Obama had promised to do alot before becoming American President but it has not been done. He is trying to improve the relations with the Arab Countries but nothing much has been done yet.People have alot of expectations. |

| His contribution to world peace is untested and many more people have been sidelined by wasting this award on Obama. I am sure the Nobel Committee has ignored the basic expectations from them, apparently they want to please somebody in power, what an irony! Other Nobel winners will have to hang their heads in shame. |

It was given to him as a loser prize for the Olympics or some other political reason to get him to do something later..The Nobel Peace prize is now reduced to the level of carnival stuff animal prizes. A real joke..hhahaha I'm not laughing..Our country is screwed with this idiot in now.. |
