Federer wins French Open, equals Sampras' record
Soderling was simply outplayed by the Swiss ace. The first set was one way play as Fedex broke Soderling in the very first game. Soderling was broken two further times in the set, as Federer wrapped it up in just 23 minutes.

Federer is French Open champion
Federer has finally won the only Grand Slam title to evade him. He lifted the French Open trophy after defeating Robin Soderling 6-1, 7-6, 6-4 in under two hours. The victory makes Federer only the sixth player to win all four Grand Slams.
