Penalising auto-rickshaw drivers for rash driving
Getting strict with shared auto-rickshaws drivers who violate traffic rules, Gurgaon Police, in a special drive, issued challans against 300 such drivers in a period of just one month. They were not just fined for rash driving, but also for failing to write driver?s name and Women Helpline number on their vehicles. On the orders of City Police Commmissioner, Alok Mittal, it was mandatory for every three-wheeler used in public transport to mention the name, cell phone number and women helpline number at the back of their vehicles.
