Gurgaon sees sharp fall in cheque bounce cases after SC order
GURGAON: A total of 6,448 cheque bounce cases have been transferred out of Gurgaon by the district courts to their counterparts in other cities across India, after the Supreme Court ruled in August this year that such cases can be initiated only at the place where the drawee bank is located. A response to an RTI query by city-based activist Aseem Takyar has revealed the figure. Source : Times of India
