BDA told to set up panel on signal-free corridor

The High Court on Wednesday put an end to the controversial signal-free corridor proposed to connect Sirsi Circle to Agara. The court directed the BDA to set up an independent committee, headed by Additional Chief Secretary, to submit a report to the state government. During the hearing of a petition filed by the residents of Koramangala, a Division Bench comprising Chief Justice Vikramajit Sen and Justice Aravind Kumar, directed the BDA to set up a committee and conduct a meeting on August 15 and prepare the plan before September 15.
