The Enforcement Directorate has begun recording the statement of jailed YSR Congress chief Jaganmohan Reddy, under arrest in connection with a disproportionate assets case. Jagan is being questioned by a joint team of ED investigators from Delhi and Hyderabad in presence of his lawyers. Jagan has been booked under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). The ED was granted permission to grill the Kadapa MP by a Hyderabad CBI special court. Jagan was arrested on May 27.
