Though ?English Vinglish? couldn?t quite gather as much steam as ?OMG! Oh My God? did a week ago, it still did much better than many other films, both big and small, that have been mere weekend wonders. The Sridevi starrer showed minimal fall on weekdays and stayed stable at the box office, hence resulting in collections of around 20.5 crores. This is a good total for the film which, till the day of release, could well have been looking at this number as its lifetime total.
