Euro Rises Most in Eight Months as Stocks, Oil Gain on EU

European stock futures, the euro and commodities rallied on the last trading day of the first half after European leaders agreed to ease repayment rules for emergency loans to Spanish banks and relax conditions on potential help for Italy. The dollar sank and oil climbed.

It's time we stop fighting over religious beliefs
In our country, people are fighting over religious beliefs. I cannot understand this. Every religion came into being due to the then prevailing circumstances. No religion is perfect as every religion suffers from dogmas, intolerance, etc. However, every religion wants to convert persons from other religions. What is the point of conversion when we know in our hearts that all religions are imperfect and in fact need to be updated and modernised?

Gurgaon to get country's first defence university
According to Gurgaon district administration, the city will soon have a Defence University for which 200-acre land has been acquired by Haryana government at Binola. The university to be called Indian National Defence University (INDU) will be the first of its kind in the country.
