Steel Plant workers to strike work today

The entire work force, cutting across trade union affiliations, of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant will observe a total strike of work on Tuesday, in protest against Union government's decision to off load 10 per cent stakes of the PSU. An approximate 20,000 strong workforce, including those on contract, and belonging to more than 10 trade unions decided to observe a two-day strike on July 31 and August 1.
