WIFW Spring/Summer'13 kicks off Oct 6

The 20th edition of Asia's biggest fashion event- Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2013 will be held from Octorber 6 and continue till October 10, 2012. Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) announced the dates and confirmed the venue as Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

Fruit vendors using carbide in fruits, raided
The Ahmedabad Corporation along with health officials launched an intensive drive to catch the wholesale fruit dealers at Naroda fruit market in north zone and different places in south zone. After carrying out a massive raid, they destroyed the mangoes and the carbide which was used for quick ripening of the fruit. Carbide usage is banned and detrimental to health.
