Dr. Lalit Kishore

This Sunday, in Jaipur's every locality and public place, people gathered to hold protest marches, candle vigils, slogan shouting and patriotic singing in wake of Pulwama terror attack carried out by suicide bomber using an SUV loaded with 300 kg IED explosives into CRPF convoy bus in which at least 40 security personnel and several sniffer dogs got killed.

It was suspected that a Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorist carried out heinous  act  as a suicide bomber on the Srinagar-Jammu highway in Pulwama, and he has been identified.

The protests against Pakistan and ISI in the entire nation are being held for a decisive action against terrorists and their supporters. Both in public and social media lives, people are pouring their anger against Pakistan and urging GOI to teach a lesson to Pakistan.

In my locality, Jai Jawan Colony-III, a candle light vigil was held to pay homage to the brave martyrs of the terror attack and express the feeling that residents stands shoulder to shoulder with the kin families of those who have sacrificed their lives for the motherland.

The floor leaders of all political leaders in both houses of the Parliament have extended their support to the government and unanimously adopted a resolution. The text of the resolution is as follows as per an official release: "We strongly condemn the dastardly terror act of 14th February 2019 at Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir in which lives of 40 brave jawans of CRPF were lost. We, along with all our countrymen, stand with their families in this hour of grief."

The release adds, "We condemn terrorism in all forms and the support being given to it from across the border. India has during the past three decades faced the menace of cross border terrorism. Of late, terrorism in India is being actively encouraged by the forces across the border. India has displayed both firmness and resilience in dealing with these challenges. The entire nation speaks in one voice to express its determination to fight these challenges. Today, we stand united in solidarity with our Security Forces in fighting terrorism and in defending the unity and integrity of India."
