Bollywood playback singer, actor Kishore Kumar (8 Awards)
One of India's greatest performers of the late 20th century and the Bollywood playback singer, actor Kishore Kumar won eight "Filmfare Award" for the Best Male Playback Singer and holds the record for most number of Filmfare Awards won for that category. Kishore Kumar sung his first song "Marne ki duayen kyon mangu" for the film Ziddi in 1948. He won his first "Filmfare Award" for the film Aradhana's song "Roop tera mastaana" in 1969. He won other "Filmfare Award" for the Best Male Playback Singer for the film Amanush song “Dil aisa kisi ne Mera" in 1975, "Khaike Pan Banaras Wala" for the film Don in 1978, "Hazaar raahen mudke dekheen" for the film Thodisi Bewafaii in 1980. From 1982 to 1985 Kishore Kumar won four "Filmfare Award" in a row for "Pag ghungroo baandh ke meera nachi" for the film Namak Halaal, "Hamen aur jeene ki" for the film Agar Tum Na Hote, "Manzilen apni jagah" for the film Sharaabi and "Saagar Kinaare" for the film Sagar in 1985.
