The auto parts and service arm of Hyundai Motor, Hyundai Mobis, started in 1977 but in 2000 got its current name, which stands for mobile and system. It’s headquarter is in Seoul in South Korea. In 2000 Hyundai Mobis became the biggest automotive parts company in charge of after-sales service parts distribution, auto parts export and module manufacturing. Hyundai Mobis has four R&D Centre in Frankfurt, Shanghai, Detroit and India from where the company provides local technology research support and electrical parts for car makers.
