Lotus Temple - a major tourist attraction in South Delhi
Breathtaking view of Bahai House - I
Thousands of visitors, both locals and foreigners visit Bahai House of worship or 'Lotus Temple' on a daily basis. Designed in the form of Lotus, the national flower of India, authorities claim that temple has drawn more than 70 million visitors, since its inauguration in December 1986. Though most of the people are attracted to the temple due to its design, but many people can be spotted praying silently in its big central hall – fascinated by the Teachings of Baha-i-Faith. Located in South Delhi in a vast park, the temple has become a good theme for photographers as well, especially in the evenings when sky turns blue.
